For those of you looking to perform in the fall, auditions for Lucky Stiff directed by Pamela Schroeder are in early August. Lucky Stiff is not your typical musical comedy. It’s a hilarious murder mystery farce complete with mistaken identities, six million dollars worth of stolen diamonds and a corpse in a wheelchair. There are six male and four female actors, who collectively play over 40 parts. Ages range from early thirties through sixties. Auditions are at the Malt House Theater on August 1st at 6:30 p.m. Please be prepared to sing about 32 bars, learn a few dance steps and read from the script. There will be music books available if you do not have sheet music of your own. Rehearsals will be four evenings a week from 6:30 p.m. to about 9:00 p.m. Please contact Pamela if you need more information. Email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
