Synopsis: The play is set in 19th-century Philadelphia and revolves around Dr. Cyrus Norton, an anatomist obsessed with creating an "anatomical museum". His quest for cadavers leads him to engage with unsavory characters involved in grave robbing, which in turn attracts the attention of a persistent police detective. The plot thickens as Dr. Norton's obsession and the activities of the grave robbers cause suspicion, blackmail, and increasingly violent murders within his household.
